About TypingMaster

TypingMaster is a free typing tutor and speed test that runs entirely in your browser. It started with a simple idea: learning to type well shouldn't require an account, a download, or a credit card.

What you get

• 20 guided lessons that take you from the home row to full-keyboard touch typing, with an on-screen keyboard showing exactly which finger to use.
• A typing speed test with timed and word-count modes, live WPM and accuracy, per-letter feedback, and a history chart.
• Word Drop, a small arcade game for practicing under pressure.
• Certificates, achievements, and streaks to keep practice fun.
• Nine plain-English typing guides covering speed, accuracy, and technique.

Private by design

There are no accounts and no servers. Your scores, lesson progress, and settings are stored only in your own browser's local storage — nothing is uploaded anywhere, ever. You can even use the whole site offline once it's loaded.

Free, really

Every lesson, test, game, and guide is free with no sign-up. If the site ever shows ads in the future, the core typing tools will stay free.
